Amber Veitenthal Announces Re-Election Campaign for Front Royal Town Council

Amber Veitenthal Announces Re-Election Campaign for Front Royal Town Council

After much prayer, thoughtful consideration, and countless conversations with my family, friends, and members of our community, I have decided to seek re-election to the Front Royal Town Council this November.

Truthfully, this was not part of my original plan. I had every intention of stepping away after my current term. However, over the last several months, I’ve been humbled by the number of residents who have reached out asking me to continue serving. Their encouragement, coupled with the unwavering support of my husband, my children, our family, and my friends, is what ultimately led me to this decision.

I was born and raised in Front Royal and Warren County. This community is more than where I live—it’s home. It’s where my roots are, where my family is, and where I have chosen to raise my own children. Like so many parents, I want them to grow up in a town they’re proud to call home and one they choose to return to as adults to build their own lives and families.

Service has always been at the center of my life. Whether it’s working with underserved children through the Hike Kidz Foundation, serving local families through youth softball, or representing our citizens on Town Council, my passion has always been investing in the people who make this community special.

During my time on Council, I have remained committed to listening first, asking tough questions, making thoughtful decisions, and standing firm on the issues that matter. I have advocated for transparent government, responsible spending, protecting taxpayers, defending property owners’ rights, supporting our local businesses, preserving opportunities for urban agriculture, and protecting the character of our town from development that does not align with our community’s vision—including my position that data centers are not the right fit for Front Royal.

I also believe one of our greatest assets is our Town employees. They are the backbone of our organization and the face of our local government. They serve our residents every day with professionalism and dedication, and they deserve leaders who support them, respect them, and provide them with the tools they need to succeed.

Serving on Council has never been about politics for me. It has always been about people. Every decision I make begins with one question: Will this leave Front Royal better for the next generation?

There is still important work ahead. I want to continue building a town that values fiscal responsibility, embraces responsible growth, protects our unique identity, supports our local businesses, and ensures our children and grandchildren have every reason to build their futures right here in Front Royal.

It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community. I would be grateful for the opportunity to continue working on your behalf.

I respectfully ask for your vote this November, and I promise to continue leading with integrity, accessibility, and a servant’s heart.

Thank you for your trust, your support, and for believing in the future of our hometown.

God bless you, and God bless the Town of Front Royal.
